Daniel Troyak is the founder of Social Buddy.

Social Buddy is a program dedicated to supporting those in the community experiencing loneliness and social isolation. Our trained volunteers make regular phone and video calls to participants in need of friendship and support. These check-ins build social skills and improve confidence, self-esteem and wellbeing. Our volunteers are multilingual; trained in deep listening and empathy for meaningful connections. We are all-inclusive, welcoming people in our community of all ethnicities, lifestyle choices, faiths, sexual orientations and gender identities.

The service is completely free and anyone can make a referral on our website.
